i-mate SP5m - Sync Set Up

The i-mate SP5m requires the installation of a third party application. To set up your i-mate SP5m to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. Press Start, select "Internet" then "Internet Explorer"
• 2. Press "Menu" then select "Address Bar"
• 3. Enter: http://www.mobyko.com/wm/setup-sph-wm5.cab then press "Go"
• 4. Press "Yes" to start your download
• 5. After the dowload and installation completes, enter the following:

Server Location: http://sync.mobyko.com/

Username: ----

Password: ----

• 6. Press "Save"
• 7. Press "Menu" then select "Settings"
• 8. Uncheck Email
• 9. Uncheck Briefcase
• 10. Check Contacts
• 11. Check Calendar
• 12. Check Tasks
• 13. Select "Sync Method", select "Manual sync" then press "Save"
• 14. Press "Menu", "Advanced" and enter the following:

Contacts: contact

Calendar: cal

Tasks: task

Data Format:

Calendar: vCalendar

Tasks: vCalendar

• 15. Press "Save"

If you have any problems, please call your normal Customer Service number.

i-mate SP5m - Syncing

Once you've set up your i-mate SP5m as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu select "Funambol"
• 2. Press "Sync All"
• 3. That's it. Your i-mate SP5m will now sync its internal contacts with your Mobyko Address Book.
