This phone supports auto set up but you can also set it up manually if you prefer.

Nokia 6101 - Sync Set Up

The Nokia 6101 comes with SyncML pre-installed and ready to go. To set up your Nokia 6101 to "sync" with your Mobyko Phone Book, just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select "Settings", "Configuration" then "Personal configuration settings".
• 2. Press "Options" then select "Add new", "Synchronisation".
• 3. Select the "Account name" and set this to Mobyko.
• 4. Set the "Server address" to http://sync.mobyko.com/
• 5. Set the "User name" to your Mobyko account ID, (----) and click OK.
• 6. Set the "Password" to your Mobyko password (----) and click OK. You will be asked to verify the password by entering it again.
• 7. Select "Contacts database" then enter contact in the Database address field and click OK.
• 8. Press "Back" once to return to the Synchronisation settings screen.
• 9. Select "Use preferred access point" and select "No".
• 10. Select "Access point settings" and enter the following:

Proxy: Enabled

Proxy address: ----

Proxy port: ----

Data bearer: GPRS

Bearer settings:

GPRS access point: ----

Authentication type: Normal

User name: ----

Password: ----

• 11. You're done.

Nokia 6101 - Syncing

Once you've set up your Nokia 6101 as described above, to perform an actual "sync", just follow these steps:

• 1. From the main menu, select "Organiser".
• 2. From the Organiser screen select "Sync", "Server sync" then "Sync settings".
• 3. Select "Configuration then select "Personal Config"
• 4. Select "Account" then select Mobyko
• 5. Press "Back" once and select "Data to be synchronised".
• 6. Select Contacts, then press "Mark".
• 7. Press "Back" once to save the changes then press "Synchronise"
• 8. Wait for the handset to show "Synchronise selected data? Mobyko" then click the OK button
• 9. That's it. Your 6101 will now connect by GPRS (watch for the capital G to appear on screen) and sync its internal phonebook with your Mobyko Phone Book.
